Are you sure? Why would they move from 1.0.18 to 1.0.20?

Why not? There doesn't need to be any logic behind the numbering... other than just a general progression upward...

Mine just updated to 1.0.20.1083. A jump like that generally means they went thru a lot of builds. Maybe the Logs button issue is fixed now. It's working at least for now. Time will tell.

    Later...

I'm always curious as to what goes into new versions. Bug fixes? Extra features and goodies? etc.

    Yes very likely....
Then you would probably have seen them in the GUI I assume, unless they are of the "under the hood" type :)

    lulika,
BD Free is working great here. Logs button seems to be fixed (works after every reboot). Also, glad to see that it's compatible with Win 8.1 now. Win 8.1 RTM is out in the wild (I've heard...;)).

    Hi Kerodo,
The Logs button is working, dude. You never know about these things for after the next reboot it might stop working. But, after numerous reboots the Logs button has worked every time I've tried it.

    Regards,

    Bob

Ok Trespasser... thanks. If that's fixed, I just might have to try it again. :)

LOGS button is not quite fixed. I'm losing hope that it will ever get completely fixed.

As much as I like BD Free, I am getting closer to switching to another antivirus program.

So, you still have issues with it then? After the latest update?

Well, he's right. Mine's not working now. Sorry, Kerodo, if you went to the trouble to install it. My bad.

I had been testing it on one of my systems and it seems to work quite well. But I kept noticing intolerable CPU spikes when browsing or watching videos. I went back to 360 IS which uses BD as one of their 3 engines and also has a sandbox (no spikes now). I would like to try BD free again if the CPU spiking could be fixed.

Yeah, it is weird. And they don't seem to be paying any attention to it any more either... I have no idea what's going on.
