You have to login to Avira Answers with the credentials for your Avira customer account. The current forum login info doesn't work.

    That's exactly what I said.

To login in Avira customer account you are giving e-mail & pass.
To login in Avira Forum you are giving user name & pass.

Avira closing down their forums huh, wow.

Keep it up Avira, you'll be shutting down your website as a whole with all the idiotic moves your making towards your users and your lack of a good antivirus program :thumbd: I'll make it a point to never recomend their software to anyone. They want to take things downhill,I'll help them out anyway possible, enough is enough.

wow.....just wow. i dont even know what to say. i have checked out the "new" forum and imo its just a place for avira to get paid to answer questions and advertise other services as far as i could tell. i own a few 3pc 3year lic's i bought about a little while ago and have not activated them yet and at this point i do not plan to until things are somehow fixed or figured out over there now. i asked customer support about those when i bought them and they said they were good till 2020 to activate are they taking those away also?? can someone from avira confirm this. i have sent a new email to cust support asking this same question and have received no answer in over a week. i *may* at some point use them but until things get sorted out over there i will for sure hold off.

Same here, I had to change my password. The new forum is different, you are dealing with real names, whether it is an improvement only time will tell.

Avira Answers is a platform that will provide help to each and everyone and let those who have the knowledge, answer their questions.
We believe that this platform will encourage more users to ask for help and get helped, not only on Avira topics.

Instead of providing a helpful Forum, Avira prefers to compete i.e. Yahoo! Answers...

Unless they change track dramatically Avira is going to join the likes of SAS in the No Man's Land of irrelevant brands.

I don't think it will go that far. Sure, they'll lose some of the users. But Avira's name will stay in people's head for a pretty long time. They're just bigger than SAS and it will need worse things to make them fall, IMO.

Geez, come on folks, Avira is just fine. Some growing pains they are all going through sometimes but trust me, the cat is about to spring.

There's nothing fine with impersonating Yahoo! Answers, and they seem to losing interest with ProActiv for 64-bit.
