So far, the program is running, Ok . It seems. A reboot has not been done, yet. ;)

Did you submit debug request when asked?

Installed it last night, scan was faster (took about 25% less time),
scanned with same scanning settings that I always use, found no
detections or false positives on my XP SP3.
Scan, installation was very smooth, Nick. Congratulations.

Immediately before that referenced screenshot, I got this from SSM that was monitoring the program upgrade install.

Sounds like your active protection and firewall are blocking SUPERAntiSpyware....

Our core service is not a "28% risk" under any circumstance - it's a simple service.

I use SAS (primarily) as an on demand scanner to check my downloads. Consequently, I get quite a lot of clean scans which I delete periodically.

However, in the old GUI one could select more than one log file to delete at a time.

As it is, it is still possible to select more than one log at time, via Document and Settings\Application Data\...etc. ;)

P.S. I can see this will not be a problem going forward, as we now have the choice to,"save Empty/Clean Logs". :)

That's not an FP - on 99% of systems where that's changed is because of malware - if you are using software that changed it, you can trust/allow.

Doesn't that mean it's not native 64-bit compatible anymore?

I am positive that it relates to Process Explorer, which I use in place of Windows Task Manager.

I did a bit of searching and found that a rival software recognizes that replacement, and does not detect this registry key after delisting. ;) - http://www.google.com.au/search?cli...\TASKMGR.EXE&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

Thanks, I do realise the size of the program will increase with subsequent updates and whether or not the user keeps or removes logs etc,
but particularly I have two instances of one file in two separate locations, which have different file sizes.

    C:\Program Files\SUPERAntiSpyware
    PROCESSLIST.DB 43.4 MB (45,604,864 bytes on disk)

    C:\ProgramData\SUPERAntiSpyware.com\SUPERAntiSpyware
    PROCESSLIST.DB 43.7 MB (45,842,432 bytes on disk)

I was just wondering why these were different, and why there are two instances of what would appear to the untrained eye, to be identical files :thumb:

    Edit:

thanks for the reply below - that explains it.

The on in Program Files is there as that is the default set of definitions shipped with the version dowloaded. The other one is the newest one downloaded - we keep the original set in case some how you are unable to connect to the net (infection, etc.) that way there are definitions to scan with to try and remove the infection.

It does not uninstall here (win XP).

Also does it fix broken file associations?
