Ok, thanks. I do not run the real-time protection, that's why I am surprised about needing to reboot after the updates.

    Gone, But Not Forgotten...

    Just tried in another snapshot.

You can see at the beginning of the update, the right click option was there, but even before the reboot it was gone. Never cameback!

    Edit: amended screenshot

The right click scanning option is missing only if SAS is not running. If you run SAS, then the right click shell extension option is back.

At least that's what I'm seeing.

For me if it's running I still don't see the right click shell extension so it's a bug for some but not all!

    Sorry to hear!

I noticed Nick was visiting last night(my time), but he did not post...I wonder why...not good to keep us in the lurch.

I am getting an error message when trying to view the SAS forums:

"[#2000] You are not allowed to visit this forum."

Anyone else receiving it? I wasn't able to email the forum administrator's either.

I am allowed to view and not post - if there is nothing to address or report I don't post - clearly obvious!

We released a new pre-release today to resolve the context menu and update issue - thank you all for testing!

Still not resolved for me. Context menu is visible only if SAS is running. Otherwise it's not there. Is that by design?

I did a clean reinstall of 1104 and my context menu right click scanning has returned!
