Light security setup so far... may add AV in the near future
I'm using Process Lasso too and it doesn't seem to do much except I like it's auto power plan changing.

Definitely improves my laptop performance. Specially when i launch programs that were not previously launched or when there is a bottleneck. (My Laptop isnt very fast, im considering it for my desktop even though my desktop is buttery smooth)

Currently SSM, free edition, I lost the 2.4 version on my last format.

If someone is so kind of send me a link to download it, would be eternal grateful, cause I'm unable to find a working one.

BTW, how many Post do I have to make, to be able to PM?

It's a great feature to deal with spammers on forum, but a pain when your re in a hurry.

Probably gonna run Crystal Security for a while as a beta tester. :)

(When writing this it's running in conjunction with Bitdefender Free.)

I've been running CFW with Defense + the past week or two. I haven't really messed with it as I wanted to get a feel for the default settings at first and to be honest, I didn't really know what to settings to apply in terms of rule sets and such. All of a sudden, things just clicked and made sense. Will be messing with it and AX64 now. Oh yea, and I built me a nice shiny new desktop so this combo will be my nice new setup to test on it. If only FedEx didn't destroy my hard drive in route  New one will be here in two or three days.

    Aborash,
I still have a copy of both SSM 2.0.8.583 Free version as well as SSM 2.4.0.622 which I believe was a Beta Version, I do not know if there was a later version or not. If you would like a copy and get the PM thing sorted out, sent me a PM with your e-mail and I would be happy to send you a copy.

So what is your favorite paid set up and which one is your favorite free set up?

Yup, Avira is solid and Avira URL filter is great too. I'd suggest you drop K9 because you probably don't need it (assuming you got WebGuard turned on).

Good Afternoon! Faster than a Speeding Re-Install...Eset S.S.6...WSA SecurityPlus...and AppGuard...Removed Bitdefender...once it gets it's hooks into Windows kernel...things start too noticeably Slowdown. And mattdocs12345...I own licenses...the only free app I've ever used was Avast and Avira...but that goes back three... four years ago. Sincerely...Securon
