Added Shadow defender again. Seems like whatever issue I was having with WSA is resolved. Maybe because I went to 64 bit software. Not really sure but glad I can use one of my fav programs.

Did you try its learning mode for HIPS and FW?

  4. Chromium is not signed, so likely to be stopped by UAC/SRP. Flash dll's are signed so extra precaution to prevent unsigned from elevating does not apply

When malware is able to bypass Low IL + EMET, my guess is that UAC/SRP will also be bypassed (in order for malware to survice re-boot), therefore added ES as a different defense mechanism to increase threshold for malware writers.

    For signed flash dll's
Chrome LOW IL + EMET = first stop
    UAC/SRP + ES = second stop

Then if I switch to "automatic mode" after "learning mode" will the "learned" rules be added to the "automatic mode"?

Well, I got my new desktop up and running like I had mentioned earlier. I'm back to something super fast and super secure: Sandboxie + EMET. That's all you need, I'm telling ya. I also got to try out AX64 and man, that thing is FAST. It is now a staple of my setup. On a similar note, I have a short story. I did something really dumb and managed to erase my entire data partition. Luckily, I use Crashplan for my online backup service and thus everything was ok; or so I thought. I use KeePass and so all of my passwords are in there, including my giant password to access my Crashplan backups, which I don't have memorized or written down. Well I stupidly (even more stupidly) stored my KeePass database file ON MY DATA PARTITION. So when that went, I was SOL. Luckily I had an older version of my database on a flash drive otherwise it would have been a bad, bad day.

So just a reminder, when was the last time you backed up (in a non-foolish manner)?

Well, then Eset HIPS needs to be more developed. In general my impression of Eset is that it mostly rely on detection, not prevention. And it is very light and unobtrusive.

I did a Search of this Thread and noticed that there are very Posts which contain Android Security setups.

What is your Security Setup/Security Software for your Android Phone and/or Android Tablet?

    Thanks in Advance.

I know that there are many different Antivirus Products available for Android.

However, I would also like to know of any other Android Tweaks and/or Android Software which can improve the Security of an Android Device. Some Questions/Comments are:

    1. Are there any Firewalls for Android available? Is an Android Firewall needed?

    2. Are there any Android Sandboxing programs available?

    3. Are there any Website Rating programs (i.e., WOT)?

    4. I know that Adblock Plus for Android is available.

    5. VPN's (Virtual Private Networks). However, it is my understanding that VPN's may require a later version of the Android OS.

    Thanks in Advance.

Until further notice or some generous developer finally introduces a PURE classical HIPS again but for x64bit systems.

ADDED: 360 Internet Security AV (Triple Scan Engines) (Cloud)
