    MSE is gone. Installed Private firewall. The rest is in the signature.

    back to WSA, Ikarus just felt like lead shoes on one of my computers. May try the new beta from F-Secure.

    How is ESET NO32 Antivirus version 6?

    I have not yet upgraded from version 4.2.71.2.

    TheKid7,version is is light and fast so far so good and this time i will leave it in learning mode for 1 to 2 days so it learn my programs and system well;) after that i will set it policy block:thumb:

    Do you notice any additional protection with this? I used to use it in college, but it doesn't seem to get many high remarks form around the review I've read anymore.

    How do you guys clean up left overs from your old AVo_O...Also is it hard on your HD....Would like to try Gdata 2014 AV but this dell laptop is 7yrs old and not sure how much punishment the HD will take...Tx

    Who cares? HDs are so cheap.... besides HDs can take much more read/write than SSDs.

    I think the concern might be more of performance not necessarily wear and tear.
