I'm still having pop-up problems today I think on reboot and with the problem with registration it's not remembering what it did during Train Me so I will looking forward to the new version with the fixes and again it's on Win 7 x64 I have no issues on Win 7 x86! ;) And still getting 2 to 3% cpu usage!

Sevens, yes, we will add a log reader soon, probably in a couple of weeks.

TH, hi, we hope to have the registration problem fixed in the next release, which should be this weekend!

Great! Keep looking for possible improvements for x64 platforms because it's hard to buy a new 32bit system these days! :) And your doing great with the support so keep that up also! :thumb:

Just got around to testing out the latest beta. Resetting the whitelist worked really well. Seems to have gotten rid of the issues that I was having.

I would think having a right click to add to voodooshield would be ideal. Then if you have a new app you could just run it via right click/drop down menu.

This would be just like sandboxie does it were it allows all the entire program to run. I am sure your new menu will allow this.

My concern is if you turn voodooshield off that a virus could run and be learned during that time.

Good to hear, better fix the issues now before releasing the next beta! You might as well add some more time to the beta as it Expires Jan 31st 2012! ;)

We are releasing the next version of VoodooShield beta tonight! Included in this release is:

    1. Fixed registration notification when internet is not active
    2. Blacklisted several commands when VoodooShield is ON, these may change as we go
    3. Automatic Update
    4. Two new options in the settings menu to automatically allow software in protected folders such as Program Files and Windows System. This is intended for advanced users who have other security software installed as well and mainly use VoodooShield for zero day and drive by threats.
    5. Several minor bug fixes, such as the double right click on the tray icon problem.
    6. Fixed issue with VoodooShield killing the screensaver.

    Coming Soon…

    1. VoodooShield’s engine will run as a service and be self protected.
    2. Password feature for corporate and kids
    3. Online / cloud based White List Editor, logs, subscription status, etc.
    4. Automatically delete processes from the white list that have not been used in 90 days.

After 3 attempts to get .NET Framework 3.5 installed, over a ten day period and countless frustrating hours, I finally succeeded.

Just waiting for the promised new beta release, to give it a whirl. ;)

I would leave it installed. You may be able to install the next beta over the existing. Check out video on using VS: -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPpp1v05GTo

thanks, checking it out. Let me ask you though, doesn't this solution rely on an educated or some what pedestrian user as far as software choices go?
