Re: Opera 10.60 Alpha - The Fastest Browser on Earth gets Faster !!!

Release Candidate for Opera 10.60 Beta Build 3422/8384/6368 is available

    HTML5-enhanced 10.60 Beta is coming!
    -------------------------------------------
    http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/show.dml/

Added several new features related to HTML5 and other open web standards. As many of you know, the HTML5 project started long ago here at Opera, and they are dedicated to fully supporting HTML5 and the latest in other open web standards, such as SVG and CSS. Opera 10.60 will be another step in that direction.

    Changelog

    - Updated opera:about with libvpx license
    - DSK-302026 (Can't edit documents on docs.google.com)
    - DSK-302179 (onerror events not sent for application caches when enabling "Work Offline")

WARNING: This is a development snapshot of Opera. It is released for testing purposes, and there may be serious bugs and unfinished features.

Thanks for the quick update ! :D

Not sure of the rest, it's not going to be a boring Opera weekend for me with trying out this new snapshot.:p

Hope the Opera Dev Team will caught some rest over this weekend though I am not complaining about their snapshot releases, in fact, I welcome them ! :p

As with any Opera snapshot release, be warned that this is a development snapshot of Opera released for testing purposes, and there may be serious bugs and unfinished features. It's work-in-progress... *puppy*

This is early and advance information that Opera will release 10.54 Final Build 3423 very soon. The files are just updated now on Opera ftp servers (only Windows and Mac builds, no linux) and you can grap it there if you wish.;)

The Opera website and homepage is not updated yet (still on Opera 10.53) but will be updated very soon.:p

Thank you.Looks like some severe security issues:( ,but why disclose at a later date?? and why not ask us to update as soon as possibleo_Owhy they are soooo mysterious o_O
    * Fixes
    - Prevented Opera from being used as a vector for a font issue in the underlying operating system, as reported by Microsoft's security team; see our advisory (http://www.opera.com/support/search/view/954/).
    - Fixed an extremely severe issue; details will be disclosed at a later date.
    - Fixed a highly severe issue; details will be disclosed at a later date.
    - Fixed a moderately severe issue; details will be disclosed at a later date.
    - Fixed a less severe issue details will be disclosed at a later date............The opera link says "the page cant be found" getting more mysterious.

10.60 is still in beta, but the 10.54 went final. I'm guessing that 10.54 will be the last update before 10.60 is released.
