Test: NEW WEB SEARCH ENGINES better than Google? ...

Well, I did a little test ... I presented this same search text: esihdrv - for some search engines.

    Results:

Google: Wilders Forums not passed, bad!

Yauba, ixquick and hakia: passed brilliantly!

I added these three Web search engines to the tabs of my IE start page, with pleasure. Privacy safe, really cool engines.

Make your own test and compare. Fun is guaranteed!

[ Fake Edit: PS. I'm not just enough, please? ... a little, a little more, many ...? ]

Thank you Google, Wilderssecurity.com is the BEST!

Yesterday I noticed our site Wilderssecurity.com - on the first place, when I searched on Google this famous esihdrv .
This is additional proof that it never stops progress. A Google approach was slow but sure. Like me, when I return to the home after a few hours of walking in the forest.:argh:

Have you Tiny Watcher Warning after restart of your computer:

    HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\aunasnkj\ImagePath (created) ?

    And in Registry you see:
    Name: Group.
    Data: Base.
    ImagePath: C:\ ... \TEMP\aunasnkj.sys
    Enum: 0: Root\LEGACY_AUNASNKJ\0000

    Do NOT worry about it.
    Click 'CONFIRM' in Tiny Watcher.

Obviously you've done the scan with GMER anti-rootkit.
AUNASNKJ - aunasnkj.sys - this is the GMER module ( look on your GMER/Modules tab) which disappears from the Registry after restart of Windows.

Your NEW (April 10, 2009) FREE and indispensable security software:

ADS and Hidden File Scanner v1.0.0.4, (C)2009 Softtouch Software Design, here: http://www.delphifreeware.com/adshidden-file-scanner/

You have only one file: adsscanner.exe - ONLY 247 Kb (in My Documents on my PC).

Hidden files scan is very fast(in seconds); on my PC 37390 files scanned, 285 files found (all M$). Evolution of this total of 285 I should follow from time to time, and if this change - so watch ...:argh:

For scan of Hidden files, which I find ESSENTIAL to have this software - fully tested and verified by me, safe to use.

Thanks for referring to the program.
The current version is V1.0.0.5, updated today, some more features.
    Edit: Updated to V1.0.0.6
It now only shows ads when they contain any stream data, not just a name.

    Hello softtouch,

    * You have also 'Check for hidden files' button (Ready for me, NOTHING!) and 'Check for Alternate Data Streams' button - in USEC Radix Antirootkit (look on 'File system' tab).

    * New GUI of Alternate Data Stream/Hidden File Scanner v1.0.05 is very nice, bravo! But I ask you to quickly return to the previous icon, which was very beatiful! Otherwise, I get angry: :gack:

    * Would it be possible to change the name too long of your tool?
For example: HiddenFiles/ADS; or HiddenFiles SoftTouch ...

    * Would it be possible to mark the new/last entries (last month for example, or new after the last scan ...) with a different color (purple), please?

    * What do the colors and abbreviations in Status tab: D ADS (blue), HS ADS (red), H, HD, HS, HDS, please?

    * ADS scan in my PC: 9 minutes; Files scanned: 38097; Found: 641 (in Radix: 642 streams found, yes - another TEMP ?? ).

    * Hidden files scan in my PC: 10 seconds; Files scanned: 36094; Found: 442 (in Radix: NOTHING found).

    Ready.

I have made some changes and splitted the program in 2.

The previous ADS/Hidden File Scanner is now JUST a hidden file scanner, which can unhide hidden files.
It also allows now to select more harddrives at once.

The new ads scanner is "Alternate Data Streams Scan Engine".
Its quiet different than the "light" version which was integrated in ads/hidden filer scanner before.
Now it allows to show and save the content of any alternate data stream to disk, eben when the file has multiple streams attached, and allow to remove individual streams form the file etc.
    Please check it out.

If you have suggestion, please let me know, I am more than willing to modify/add/remove features at anytime.

Bravo softtouch for your hfs.exe (422 Kb only!) - Hidden File Scanner.

    * What interest me is to see any malware files. What capability it has to find the malwares?

    * What I miss - it is the Properties on each file, by right-click.

    * I also like to have a checkbox: 'Filter Microsoft files'.

    * For me - PROROOTECT - the word 'Filter' is better.:argh:

    * ... and: no more than 'Status' tab? Why? ...
