    Whoa really?

Any reason you are using that vs. uBO? I like the new Edge a lot but at times I have had issues with playing videos. Or on the other side of it, not being able to block the autoplay of videos.

That said, I'm currently messing around with Firefox. So much has changed since I last used it.

Trooper, Firefox will always be my day-to-day browser, with Adblock+ and NoScript. However, read about Adguard Ad Blocker here, and installed it in Edge, together with a bunch of filter lists, and I'm impressed. Haven't found any issues... yet. :shifty:

Edge smart screen blocks it straight away in my machine with EAM.

EDIT.. Just to be clear this is when using Edge browser.
When I use Vivaldi EAM quarantines it.

Okay, on my machine 1909. Edge SmartScreen does not work in my Edge sandbox 5.33.6. - #447
I'll post my issue to Sandboxie board.
    Thanks

It's not reversible because Microsoft don't want you to use an outdated or vulnerable Edge Legacy or IE. currently the reg patch vs Edge don't work when you have 2004 installed, it won't happen on 1909. The only thing you can do is to avoid Windows update and use WSUS. At least nothing is fixed, someone will find a solution.

Myself won't have (new) Edge, I don't like it nor will I use it because of chromium. BTW chromium is also available now in MS Store, but be careful, it's not the current build so it's vulnerable.

You see, this is why I don't want to install it on my real system.

BTW, I was being silly, I forgot that you can still install extensions from the Chrome Web Store, strangely enough uBlock didn't work correctly with this older version of Edge but luckily Adblock Plus works just fine. So I can continue to use Edge as a testing browser.

I've used various Chromium builds before but never really liked them on desktop, although I find Chrome Edge to be a very fast browser with low resource usage on my low-spec laptop. If I weren't already an entrenched Firefox user, I might consider new Edge for daily use, since it works with my preferred script add-on, Violentmonkey. I've been using Nano blocker with Nano Defender on new Edge with good results. (I used AdGuard on the older Edge, but found too many ad reinsertions were getting through. I haven't tried it yet on new Edge.)

Adguard works really good with Edge Chromium. I have had little luck getting Violentmonkey to block ads on Protopage and UBO won’t either. What I do is use UBO for all sites except Protopage and configure Adguard to invert the whitelist and only filter Protopage. Works great.

An entrenched Firefox-user too. Waiting for an addon like Temporary containers to switch to Edge Chromium.
