I think I found the problem which posted by other users
for the avira windows firewall management module
the bug is when you activaited this module, your avira events will keeps on many eventlog
says windows firewall has been started
which will created per second, this may the reason why when you turn on the Avira firewall management module and get slow boot
I suggest all of you remove this module until the fix has been ship off

I have disabled via "uninstall/change a program" the mail protection (I don't really need it as I use Gmail) and the firewall control (there is no need for Avira to interact with the Windows firewall). Booting time has been almost normal ever since (this solution was kindly suggested by another member who has reneged on its efficacy at a later stage).

Good Morning! I'm completely flabbergasted at how it's taken Avira over three months to rectify this boot-up firewall issue. Why anyone would want to purchase the Internet Security Suite...is beyond me...this is a bad reflection on German Engineering and Workmanship. Yes due to the Cloud the most important element has improved Detection and Removal...but the end user needs the Firewall Component. Until the Boot up issue is resolved...their should be a 70% off Boot Not Up...Sale...Lol! Sincerely...Securon

Whenever I right click on Avira tray icon i'm seeing this error message and the icon disappears from the tray. Luckily protection is not disabled. Does anyone know how to rectify the problem ?

    Rather 'thinks he needs' ...

Actually it's already 100% off if you take the free version which offers the same protection.

Good Afternoon! FleischmannTV...how ironic and bizarre is that...pay for our product ...and in the end...you'll be left to ponder...why would I want to pay anyway! Lol! Stefan...will have some interesting moments...and then some, trying to convey our newly adopted approach...to the why Pay At All...Model! Lol! Good point though. Sincerely...Securon

Good Afternoon! Well the saga continues...I re-installed Avira Internet Security Suite...without Windows Firewall and Mail Scanner...I Logged Off and Logged back in Majesto Presto...instant connect. Windows firewall is already protecting the system...so my take on the situation is it's not really needed...I'm using WSA Security Plus and Windows Firewall . I'm using Windows 7 32bit...and no lag time encountered during boot-up. Now having said that...is there any downside to this fix? And is the Mail Protection joined at the Hip with activating the firewall? Sincerely...Securon

If they don't want to develop it's firewall, they could try to make it like f-secure adding more protection enhance the windows firewall
or just make it simple as windows firewall control(which is very useful tools)
Not just add an on/off switch and all direct link to mmc or control panel
that is nothing help and not what our end user want it!

Good Afternoon! Well DoctorPC...it worked until I had to log on again...and then the long slowwwww...boot-up time. I then uninstalled...and installed Eset S.S.7...it works every time. But I appreciate your fix! Sincerely...Securon
