Comodo? Erm, no, I don't think this is an alternative for me, but thanks for your suggestion anyway.

 

VS insisted I do the upgrade, so after upgrading I keep getting the VS needs updating screen.... I'm just round and around in circles! should I delete VS and download 3.59 from the site and re install? What gives?

 

I doubt it would work. Appears 3.59 is no longer supported as I went through the same as you earlier today. I am sure that little problem will be soon resolved.

I think that was me. On two machines I had VS stop responding after installing the Win10 1709 patch yesterday.

 

Okay, thanks for the info If it's indeed an easy fix Dan should IMO bring out a new (beta)version.

yeah, it did happened to me also about two weeks ago.A reboot did fix the problem and so far OK with the latest version.

 

Sadly it's not a once-in-two-weeks thing for me. It's happened three times today on this machine. I've sent logs to Dan and maybe he can fix it but until then I'll have to uninstall VS. I'm not beta testing any software at the moment and enjoy a basically error free experience. I'm not getting that with VS 4.15 private beta.

It happened to me just now on waking my machine from sleeping.

Just updated and a web management console password is set - but not by me. Any ideas please? Thank you.

 

They are doing maintenance on the web management site and Dan has asked not to use the Management Console for now.

The password is the same as your VS account password anyway.

I thought Dan might of notified me but I know how busy he is.

 

At least two bugs fixed on my machines.

VS now toggles off when Chrome.exe has become suspended and the desktop gadget stays where I left it after a restart now.
