It is 100% reproducible in WLM, Dan. EVERY time I click to Update All it happens now. It didn't happen with 3.10.

Yeah, the new beefed up "anti-exploit" feature will have some blocks like this, but I will fix it ;). But it only happened twice to me on outlook, and I was not sure what triggered that child process.

But this will help a lot being about to reproduce the issue consistently. Can you please tell me what version WLM you are running, and what steps it takes to make the bug happen? I can fix that tonight or tomorrow for the next release.

    WLM 16.4 (Windows Essentials 2012 on Win10x64)

Open WLM and click the Send Receive button > Update All > VS has animation while Microsoft Feeds Sync.exe is scanned then pop up.

I look that and I C/P you post on croatian forum but one guy post this (Google translator):
"Is there somewhere a little more detail? From this bass can not read a specific technology, except that at VoodooAI I-mentioned data scientists, which actually refers to machine learning as one of the great tasks at SU is to good prepare information for algorithms to be chewed."

Sorry, I just got your pm, but for some reason there was not a place for me to reply.

Yeah, I will look over all of the posts I missed when I get a chance... but for now, I really need to step away from the computer.

Can you please send me a link to the O&O and I will check it out. Thank you!

My brain hurts ;). I really am trying to understand what this means, but I am not sure if there is a question in there or not. Please let me know!

BTW, the first person who finds some malware that can trick the blacklist scan and VoodooAi gets a free lifetime license to VS ;).

By no means am I saying that something will not slip through the blacklist scan and VoodooAi combo (obviously something will)... but I do think it will be quite difficult to find. Then again, that is what the computer lock is for ;). But having said that, the blacklist scan and VoodooAi complement each other very, very nicely. A quick way to tell is that the background of the user prompt typically does not change once the blacklist scan results are adjusted with the VoodooAi results... well, I mean they do change from time to time, but in general, if usually the color does not change, then that just means that the blacklist scan and VoodooAi are agreeing with each other. Which obviously is a good thing because then you can feel more comfortable with the results.

Terms and Conditions: cruelsister1 is not eligible for this offer ;). Just kidding, you are ;).

With 3.11 when I close IE11 I now have to decide on 4 or 5 Command Lines EVERY time I close IE11. o_O

I'm going back to 3.10 for the time being, 3.11 is not quite ready, in my humble opinion.

    VoodooShield,

Latest VS Beta (Scan & Allow Mode)
    Win 10 64
    Eset Smart Security

To test I run all my portable apps & few installers. I have few installed programs & all were in the initial whitelist/snapshot of VS.

There is lag now on first opening of the programs (Previous version...no lag was there).

    GUI---
Whitelist, Quarantine, etc... open in new window...is this by design now?

    Offline i.e Internet Disconnected---
None of my portable programs run & no mini alert from VS (Previous version...on net disconnected VS give mini alert that internet is not connected & clicking on mini alert give popup with allow/block options).

    Internet Connected---
Portable programs run fine. But if any portable programs I run first time on net disconnected...they dont run & then not run after net connected too.

    VoodooAi FPs---
DnsJumper Portable - Unsafe - Block recommended on alert
VidCoder x64 Portable - Suspicious - Block recommended on alert
VirusTotal Uploader Installer - Suspicious - Block recommended on alert
Unchecky Installer - Suspicious - Block recommended on alert

    Blacklist scan FPs---
Rufus portable - But FPs engine determined the detection FP & VoodooAi determined safe.

I got an error window too. It mentioned Microsoft.Net Framework & the error was Unhandled exception has occured in your application.

    Update---
Uninstalled Eset Smart Security & tested again & lag is there on first opening of the programs.

Sounds like ENZO to me but he has been around for 10+ years already and he's even smarter now with 10 years under his belt! LOL

The freeze prob happened to me on Win 10 64 with the latest beta.

VS was fine. After VS install there was a C++ update by Windows Update. I installed the update & restarted the system. After system restart VS freeze or spinning circle was there.

So do check if C++ update is the prob for VS freeze.

To be fair, you can't really expect developers to cater for XP for ever can you?

Yeah, we might be able to do something like that, thank you for the suggestion! In VS's case, it might just be better to have threshold sliders for the blacklist scan and VoodooAi. Once we wrap up this version and finish working out the little bugs, we can revisit this, thanks again!

Yeah, I will vulnerable processes soon (I just have not figured out the best way to do it yet), thank you! Yeah, there is a space in Settings / Advanced, and I will add this asap. Most or all of them are already hardwired in anyway, but it would be nice if the user can define them on their own.
