I'm in the process of evaluating ATI Home 2009. My intention is to backup folders for one NAS in my home network to another NAS in the same network. On my first backup attempt, I am receiving errors stating: 'Failed to backup file or folder 'FOLDERNAME'. An error occurred while reading a file. The backed up file in the backup may be corrupt and will not be restored correctly.' The error is occuring for every folder in the backup. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. Although I am new to this OS, I do know my way around PC's in general. The user with which I am logged in to Windows appears to have sufficient privileges on the network drives. (This was validated by performing a simple folder copy from the source to the location.) Could it be that Vista is trying to run the backup with a different user account, more specifically one that has insufficient privileges on the NAS, or is there some other problem? Can I schedule/run the backup with a different user account, and if so, how would I go about doing this? Thanks in advance.
