This morning, I've updated Edge.
Just my thoughts.
Edge has the most of "parasitic" features of any browser.
It comes with the territory - Windows OS.
It has "unsound" for my taste ways of Cleaning History and Updating Extensions - it adds additional steps to get to it.
Pus, after I CLEAN(!) my Edge - I delete everything, it automatically opens on it's undesired page - MSN news.(WTF), but...
I've asked to have it CLEANED of any cookies, any HISTORY, EDGE.
Next.
Anytime, I MUST(!) update it - it comes with the territory of Windows OS - I need to go through all my apps/software to
1.) CLOSE EDGE - What, but I've closed it. Oh, no - EDGE is Running on it's own.
2.) Over and over again, I need to remove Edge from Startup.

It does not happen to Chrome, Brave, Firefox, etc...

 

I had ON only "Use Hardware acceleration when available."

After I close Edge and clean my Internet browsing with Privazer, Wise Care tells me that Edge is still running.

I'm going to ask about it in the Privazer thread.

do you have background apps enabled? if yes, try disabling it.
