That bug report is on your server, so the page doesn't open (504 Gateway Time-out) and thus I can't view what's in that report.
Anyhow, the issue that I reported in my previous post was not there before your server problem.
As you didn't specify what's in your bug report, I don't know if we're talking about the same issue or not.

By now, the server issue seems to be fixed, and I can view your bug report 4146.
I see its content is what I reported earlier, when the server issue wasn't fixed yet.
Now the server issue is fixed, the issue that I reported is resolved.
I see you designated your bug report "Status: resolved" "Resolution: fixed".

    Everything looks OK.
    Thank you very much. :thumb:

Er .. I'm not sure that I understood correctly what caused the issue that I reported earlier. I thought that issue was not there before the server issue started. Therefore, I assumed that what I reported was simply a result of the server issue, and was fixed with fixing the server.
But now I understand that you say you implemented a change, and that caused the issue that I reported, and you have now fixed that.
Anyway, everything works again, and that is great.
Thanks very much once again. :thumb:

yes because part of the "wrong web page being open when one server is down" was a bug on client side

When using the internal updater, I get an access violation error message. However, the new version will be installed without any problems.

Ah, thanks, and you're right, of course.
Although SUMo loads so fast, that I couldn't even remember that I ever saw such "loading" pop up.
But I just tried with 5.0.8.340, and yes there I noticed the "loading" pop up and I was able to maximize it. Well, for a fraction of a second that was, before it was gone.
It's clear that no one will miss that 'option' to maximize the "loading" pop up. ;)
    Going to install 5.0.9.342 now.
    Thanks again.

    @Kyle_Katarn,

    Hi Kyle,
Since recently, I use LosslessCut x64 for Windows.
    LosslessCut is built using Electron.
The LosslessCut package for Windows contains a LosslessCut.exe file, that is actually a renamed electron.exe file.
Therefore, In SUMo, LosslessCut is reported as Electron.
That is not really an issue to me.

What is an issue, that is that SUMo does not differentiate between LosslessCut Releases and Electron Releases.
In SUMo, Electron updates are reported as LosslessCut updates.
And that is an issue, as LosslessCut is not at the same file version as Electron is.

Kyle, is there a way you could enable SUMo to differentiate LosslessCut version updates from Electron version updates?
If so, that would be very welcome.
    Thanks very much.

Yes, as I said, the LosslessCut package for Windows contains a LosslessCut.exe file, that is actually a renamed electron.exe file. But renaming the file does not change the file description and product name, and that is what SUMo reads.
As I said, I don't mind that in SUMo LosslessCut is reported as Electron, that is not really an issue to me.
But what is an issue to me, that is that SUMo does not differentiate between LosslessCut version updates and Electron version updates.

Is there some way you could enable SUMo to differentiate LosslessCut version updates from Electron version updates, anyhow?
Or is that not possible at all, considering the file properties?

Even though file properties mention Electron for both file description and product name, SUMo correctly detects and displays the LosslessCut file path, including LosslessCut.exe
Couldn't SUMo differentiate LosslessCut and Electron installations on file path information?
The LosslessCut file path says LosslessCut.exe, the Electron file path says electron.exe

If SUMo only differentiates on file properties such as file description and product name, and not on the file name in the file path information, perhaps that could be something that could be changed, so that SUMo can differentiate on the file name in the file path, also?
Is that a workable idea, or am I asking the impossible? ;)

Of course it is possible... but making some product specific routine is truly worth when affecting a significant share of users. I'll give this a look.
Please propose a feature request here : http://www.kcsoftwares.com/bugs/

    Thanks, merry Xmas !!

    Thanks very much, Kyle.
But I didn't mean a product specific routine for LosslessCut.
I was thinking that perhaps it might be possible that for all applications SUMo could differentiate also on the file name in the file path, as well as on file properties such as file description and product name, not only for LosslessCut.
I guess there may be more applications for which such extended SUMo differentiation rules could be helpful.
Earlier, I have seen the same issue with some other software, that I no longer use.

Could you be so kind to do that, please?
I don't have a login for that, and I think you would know best what details would be relevant.

    Thanks, Kyle.
    Same to you and everyone.
