THks for reply I did re-install product with same result ,but noticed that everything and notifier were unchecked at startup for some reason. I had those other 2 entries startup also and problem went away. My question now is ,what do I need to startup for secureage to work properly all these 3 entries everything.exe snotifier.exe securetray.exe I only had last one when the problem was there,so do I need all 3 entries to startup when computer boots? Also do I still need to do a refreshindex.exe from file above? I talked too soon it is still doing it as I write this. I'll try refresh and see. Thks
The look and functionality of the product is excellent, but my only issue is with the none user friendly structure of license handling (as mentioned in earlier posts). I'm almost certain that the way it is done now, is the way it'll always be. But, all I ask is to consider some of the ideas and points that were given out by your following...your customers, your users. Other than that, you guys are doing an amazing job with the product. So, on that note...keep up the good work!
Is there any problem with the server? Scan could not complete. Tried going to the website & took very long to log onto my account. After logging onto my account, an error message appeared.
@smith2006 We were experiencing a heavy amount of traffic which resulted in the error. It should be accessible now. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Anyone on this I turned off realtime scanning for now, really slows machine with this continual scanning.
THks for video I see this guy had trouble with the continual scanning and the lockup ,must be a way to turn some of these things off temporarily
You can turn off the real-time or UAV scanning by going to "App Settings"->"Scan Settings", from the main console.
So I saw the video review from mrizos and really liked how the program looks and works. I only use it for a short time when @sinlam introduced it here at Wilders and even though I didn't get a license, I'd like to try it. However, the "freemium" thing is kind of confusing, I haven't been able to find an answer as to what happens after the "first 12 months"?
Hi atomomega. Thank you for your interest in SecureAPlus. After 12 months the license will be expired. There are two paths to get license extension, the free path, or purchase premium license. For the free path, it is done by earning points, and then later on the points can be converted to license extension. For more details, can be check on the following link: https://support.secureaplus.com/how-to-extend-my-freemium-user-license-for-free/
Thank you for the answer. I know the license expires, but I want to find out what happens to the program itself when that happens... does it stop working completely? does it become crippleware (loses major features)? does it become an on-demand scanner?
When it is expired, the following features will be disabled: - Auto update for virus definition database. - Auto check for new software version. - Blocking of untrusted application. - Universal AV scanning. You still can perform on-demand scanning using ClamAV, but not UAV. Application Whitelisting will only operate in Trust All mode.
Thank you very much! May I suggest you guys to quote this info in your website because it's either very well hidden or non-existent at all.
