Revo Uninstaller Free 2 (and Portable) now support 64 bit OS

    Awesome news! Now I don't have to uninstall the Pro version on PC's I clean up! I still like and use the Pro version so how does it compare to the Pro version if anyone knows?

    Same over here, the speed to me is very important. I was not impressed by RU at all, too bloated.

    Got it thanks. Question: Is it better to use Windows 'Program and Features' first, and than use RU to make sure all the remnants are gone, or just use RU before Windows? By the way the list of programs loaded instantly with me although I think I have less than a hundred...

    You can't use Programs and Features first, as the program will be removed from the list of installed programs and Revo won't list it. However it would be pointless as Revo runs the program's installer before scanning for leftovers.

    Yes, pretty much every uninstaller program runs the app's own uninstall routine first.

    By the way the System Restore point that Revo creates is optional and can be turned off in Options/Uninstaller/General settings.

    Glad that this particular uninstaller is still being improved on. Been using it seems like forever.

    Never let me down once and it clears out nicely your uninstalls.

    And i'm still the Portable kid so drop in a single folder of tools and there ya go!
