I am using Google Chrome version 18.104.22.1684 and pdf-xchange free pdf viewer version 2.0 (build 50) and running Windows 7 Ultimate, 32 bit. When I had Safe Online on, even with protection turned all the way down, and opened a pdf document in Chrome I would get a "this application is not responding" message- or some message to that effect. The application would be pdf-xchange, although I never got any error message when opening the same document in Internet Explorer 8. Since I disabled Safe Online I no longer get that message when I open a pdf document online in Chrome with pdf-xchange. Just a FWIW message.
