I pulled v3.0 BUILD15-10032014 from website before seeing your reply. Needed 3832 anyway for new build / version install instructions. Presumed an over install would satisfy. I don't find new build / version update instructions with the online help. Is uninstall / install required for all or just beta builds.
3832 reports v3.1 build 13 vs. website v3.0 build 15. So, v3.1 build 13 must be latest beta and v3.0 build 15 latest full release.
If the only change was << Now ERP checks if a process or command-line is password protected before checking the whitelist or blacklist >> I can probably run v3.0 as I haven't added password yet. Still feeling my way around.
Also, new build (beta) announced here #3954

The online help is simple, understated work of genius. Luv SBoxie OpenPipePath. Wish another app we know offered same ;)

Um, the last line of ERP online help has me "concerned" << Do not use a proxy or tunnel with EXERadar.exe >>
I run ZenMate browser VPN. Is "tunnel" with online help pointing to "tunnel" with ZenMate ? :(

Just installed. Running out of the box default. Alert Mode. No issues. Default is prompting and with a little time. I can play with settings. There's a Restore Default Settings. So, No worries. http://novirusthanks.org/help-files/exe-radar-pro/

I have used ERP with a VPN, but it wasn't a Browser VPN. I would do two things. 1. if possible test it your self, and 2. Email support.

Also one thing I did to avoid the annoyance of pop ups. I know my machines are clean, so Ive whitelisted the following folders. windows, program files and program files (x86)

To do that go to the whitelist tab, right click in the window, select add new (at the top), check the box to include subdirectories and the add the 3 folders. You have to do them one at a time. This way the alerts from ERP should be reduced to just new stuff.

Is this project still alive? Last post from the developer is almost from one month ago when he said that he will post some more info within next days...

Yes it is. I suspect they are in an unusual activity....working on something that pays the bills. For ERP doesn't, because the pricing is very user friendly which benefits us. So be patient. The last beta of ERP is already about as good as it gets.

Yeah, I'll email Support. Can't imagine what the issue would be ? Anyway, I've had a few popups. Not bad. Stuff I didn't understand. Unsigned M$ ? I saw M$ so allowed...but, did not whitelist. Had one persistent pop that I had to allow till boot. To bad we can't do a search from the popup. I know ridiculous.

Wondering does NoVirusThanks EXE Radar service require Automatic or may I Delayed Start.

Um, default has M$ Windows system protected processes + Allow all from Program Files

    1. I wouldn't mess with the service. If you want to temporarily disable, the use the right click on the tray Icon>Protection Modes.

    2. Why wouldn't you whitelist all MS processes, and program files. You know what is there and it's safe.

I'm running Default for now to see what ERP does and I don't know about VPN conflict ? So, I'm treading slowly. So, service left at Automatic. Gotcha !
I believe you used "best" to describe ERP. I must agree. Not that you need my validation. :) Amazed at how quickly ERP felt at home. Like it's been a resident for years.

Start exploring the advanced tab, white listing command lines, and wild cards in command lines, and I think you will be blown away. Don't hesitate to ask questions. It was Andreas objective to do just what you stated. Make it feel at home right up front. Note all the command line strings that were entered for you.

I like what I'm reading about this program.

    And I like one-time-pay software.

I think I'll get this on the next major update.

You should have been witness to the pop fest when I finally got around to making Recovery Flash media for my new W8.x box earlier today.
ERP and VS were gonna' throw a wheel :D
Good test ! If an exe gets passed ERP. It's one clever sneaky sob exe. :isay:

Why so many Microsoft not signed.

I was thinking about services as I have a minor conflict on startup. One of my system tray Icons must be bumping into another, I think. cmd line window blinks as desktop settles. Only noticed since ERP install. Although, I do have a few HP updates to install.

One thing I do with my machines, is have a password so I can stop the log in a wait just a bit, to let stuff like you are describing settle in. Then I let the boot go on,and it's much better.

My user accounts are Password. But, I'll try stopping there for a few and see if that helps. Thanks as always.

I also hope that the developer will soon release the new version, right now I'm using an older version because of a serious bug with the new version on Win 8. Plus I really miss an "install mode", it's a hassle having to switch between alert and disabled/allow mode at the moment.

No, because all of the latest versions have this bug, at least on Win 8.1. It doesn't remember rules correctly.

So, I waited till disk lite was quiet at date and time screen. Swipe corner for login. Login > Desktop. SysTray Icons blink as cmd window blinks.
Somethin' bumping into somethin' ? Observed after ERP install

Same for me, I tried the latest beta but had to reverse to a older version for the same reason, does not remember rules on Windows 8.1 For ex I click allow to create a rule for my printer but it doesn't remember it.

Are the Uninstall / Install instructions posted here #3832 required as Online Help does not mention Update steps. Perhaps Update steps are for beta v full release ?

Two things. Yes the recommended procedure applies to all "updates" or new installs, beta or not.

The other thing is I see you are running VoodooShield. This is also an anti exec program, and they may be colliding somehow.

I thought about that...but, I have VS on Delayed as it's a stand alone. I have ERP at default. Allow all from Program Files and VS not. I let ERP run background while VS prompts.
ERP seems smarter than me. :D

Yes, and another reason why it bugs me, is because this older version that I'm using can not recognize "start.exe", to make it stop monitoring installation by Sandboxie.
