Microsoft security updates?

With all that has been going on of late, does anyone know if Microsoft plans security updates for Internet Explorer and Windows this month?

For some reason the automatic notifier did not notify. I shall be doing the downloads A.S.A.P. Yet another reason why Wilders is the best dang WEB site going.

Addendum: Updates completed. It helps with the notification if one choices an option in the security shield portion of WindowsXP, Dah!

I suspect Win/MS auto updates work similarly to the updates for other software -- the notifications are probably staggered over a few hours so they don't get hit with millions of users all trying to update at once.

If I don't see that notification icon by early afternoon (EST) of "the day", typically I'll go to the Win Update site and get the updates OK anyway. It's rare that the icon is the first "official notice" I get.

Machine 2: downloaded automatically and by me installed yesterday.

Machine 1: nothing has come through yet.
