Recently, everytime when I exit out of the Firefox browser, and then after clicking on Firefox logo in order to open, it still says I'm logged into sites I've logged in to. I went to options to see and it says clear history when firefox closes and it's checked everything on the boxes under settings like cache and cookies. Why is this happening?

Did you install an add-on recently? Could be a conflict with an add-on.

IE does log her out when exiting but Firefox does not. She does have her computer set to sleep mode when shes not at the laptop for a while so she thinks that may be causing this. The browser was kept on the laptop when she was away and then it went into sleep mode. She came back from sleep mode and exited the browser and when re opening she was still logged into all sites.

Clearing cache and cookies doesn't log you out of sites. That's done when you actually log-out on the site itself.
If you're allowing cookies from a site, the cookie will be re-created the moment you land on one of that site's webpages again.

In the 'clear recent history' dialogue, there's an option for 'active logins'. Do you have that checked?

Soo sorry for the late response. But I finally got the problem fixed recently. Thank you!
