    HMP shell integration is missing on my system as well.
    It must be a bug in HMP 3.7.18.284.
    I tried disabling shell integration in the HMP UI, closing, opening and re-enabling, but that didn't help.

    On my system, the shell integration option is still under Settings\ Scan\ Shell integration,
    but the context menu right-click scan option is gone from Windows Explorer.

    @erikloman,
    @markloman,
    I hope you see these post, and can fix this.

    The option is still there, and checked. I tried unchecking, okay, checking, okay, to no avail.

    After selecting the option in (Build 284), the file "hmpshext.dll" is created in the HitmanPro folder and after searching for the handle it is used from my filemanager.

    ...but no right-click scan is possible, because the entry is missing :cautious:
    Confirmed. I can't see it too.

    I had the scan feature, until I disabled and re-enabled it (on purpose, to test).

    I'm sure that they will add the changelog for the new build at a later time.

    They are preparing a new major version of HMP.A and are backporting fixes to the 3.6x-branch, etc.:

    I'd say that this is a major oversight, given the loss of context menu functionality that most of us use regularly with the program. It would be sweet if someone would communicate to us that they are aware of the problem and are ready to release a fix.

    I have found a working solution for the missing context menu :)
    Edit: #7556

    After enabling of the context menu the file "hmpshext.dll" is extracted to the HitmanPro-folder.
    Now, if the context-menu ("Rightclick on a folder - "Scan with HitmanPro") is actually working in previous versions of HitmanPro, what would happen if the file "hmpshext.dll" is exchanged with an earlier version of this file?
    Result:
    HitmanPro_exchanged_dll.png
    HitmanPro_exchanged_dll_fileinfo.png
    = Newest build (284) with an older version of the file "hmpshext.dll", and after a rightlick on a folder: "Scan with HitmanPro" can be seen.

    In short:
    The file "hmpshext.dll" must be exchanged with an older version (the dll from 3.7.15 Build 281 is working) and the context menu is shown.

    The changelog hasn,t been updated since Nov 10,1916...https://www.hitmanpro.com/en-us/whatsnew.aspx

    Things were never like this before Sophos bought out Hitman...NO more attention to details anymore...BAD!!!

    Are the Surfright / Hitman Pro team at least aware of this issue o_O
    Because would rather not just randomly lose a aspect of functionality on something paid for lol.

    Just to clarify, the context menu shortcut is also not present for people with paid version of HitmanPro ? - as the free & full version have slightly different revisions sometimes.
