I downloaded the Trial version of ESET NOD32 antivirius and ESET NOD32 Security, The problem is that I can't access the personal firewall and NOD32 Security, the only Icon I have at the bottom right by the clock is the antivirus. Please help
You downloaded the trial to both? You should only have 1 installed at a time, Either NOD32 or Eset Smart Security. If you installed only Eset NOD32 Antivirus, you will only have access to the AV. If you installed ESS, then you will have the spam filter and firewall. Please verifty which product you have installed.
If you installed Eset Smart Security, you do not need to install NOD32. Eset Smart Security contains the same NOD32 within it, so there is no need for a seperate install. My advice would be to uninstall both and start from scratch, then install either one or the other, but not both.
I went to my remove programs and I only saw NOD32 Anti-virus, I don't see the smart security which don't make sense because I installed it, So do you think I'm okay? I still can't find the settings for my personal firewall in NOD32 anti -virius, where can I adjust that?
Eset NOD32 does not have a firewall, only Eset Smart Security. If you are wanting a firewall, uninstall NOD32 Antivirus, and install ESS.
ok But do I still get all the same features as the NOD32 anti-virus if I download the ESET SMART SECURITY?
Yes. ESS (ESET Smart Security) includes all of EAV (ESET Anti Virus) as well as anti-spam and a firewall. I would guess that your install of EAV over the top of ESS, simply changed your installation from ESS to EAV. Uninstall EAV and then install ESS and you will see anti-virus, anti-spam and the firewall. The software has excellent manuals you can download and read. After this kind of self inflicted mess, I would highly recommend a clean reinstall as discussed in this thread.
