I did a scan yesterday on safety.live.com (a microsfot website) and it said i have 5 viruses, including something called Tojan.Galoper.A. However, today, i did the same scan but i only got Trojan. Java:classloader, which I didn't get in the previous scan. Cna someone tell me what is going on and how i can get rid of Java:Classloader?

EDIT: I forgot to mention that it was unable to clean any of the viruses.

    Welcome to Wilders helpmeplz.
I think the friendly folks here will need a little more info in order to be of any assistance.
If you're referring to www.safetylive.com, it is NOT a Microsoft site.
Are u sure that is the correct link?
Also, I can find no reference to "Tojan.Galoper.A".
Post back if you can update with specifics.

No its saftey.live.com or vice versa. And I don't think Trojan.Galoper.A is my virus anymore, because like I said I just ran another scan and Trojan:Java/Classloader came up. I went to "Learn More" but it had no info. The threat is low but that's pretyt much all I can give you. There was also a worm the FIRST time i scanned on that website, but like i said, only Tojan:Java/Classloader came up this time so I need to know 1) how do I get rid of this virus and 2) is my computer still infected with the other ones. I know this is not much help but I'm computer illerate and so I don't know much about computers, but any help would greatly be appreciated.

EDIT: And just another quick question, does disinfect mean the same thing as remove, so i disinfected/removed a virus?

    OK, just one more question.
What AV (antivirus) are u using (and do you keep it updated)?

I strongly suggest you download Anti-Trojan software.
(After download, connect and download/update for latest trojan signatures b4 you do a scan)
Ewido is a well respected AT and can be found here:
    http://www.ewido.net/en/

Let us know how you make out.

Hi helpmeplz & welcome to Wilders, :D

    safety.live.com is from Microsoft.

First download and install Ewido, update and scan in Safe Mode.
If you buy Ewido you'll have automatic updates and the resident shield.
After the trial you won't be able to use those features, but you'll still be able to update manually, so it stays free. :)

You could also perform an online virus scan at Trend Micro and BitDefender.

If that doesn't clean those pests, last method would be to post an hijackthis log at one of the dedicated forums.
Read the instructions prior to posting your HJT-log.
For more info click here.

Hope that helps a bit. ;)

Ok, i did that, and I got rid of two Trojans but I still have Torjan:Java/Classloaer. Also, I don't know what a hijackthis log is and I'd be glad to post it if someone could tell me where to find it.

Good to know it helped a bit. :)

Don't post any HJT-log here, but click the link in my previous post to know more about it.

The instructions on how to proceed will be explained on those forums.

    Good luck ;)
