Effective immediately: Wilders Security Forums will no longer be providing one-on-one anti-malware log analysis or other system cleaning services.

The adware, spyware & hijack cleaning sub-forum is closed for starting any new log review threads.

Any unsolicited anti-malware logs* posted anywhere else on the forum will be closed with a link pointing to this policy and removed sometime after that.

Please note that from time to time an analysis log may still be requested by a moderator (or specially titled forum expert) for use in other types of problem diagnosis. Only those logs requested by Wilders Security Staff will be worked on in forum, and only those qualified to request a log are permitted to comment about a log.

For anyone experiencing general browser hijacking or having any type of suspected spyware infection, we recommend going to a security forum that provides an analysis and cleaning service.

We don't maintain a comprehensive list, but a few forums we've recommended in replies here are: Bleeping Computer, Geeks to Go, Malware Removal, Malwarebytes, WhattheTech, for help with Ransomware Emsisoft and in Dutch Nucia. Please note that there are certainly many other qualified sites we could recommend.

    * The restriction on posting unsolicited anti-malware logs applies to logs generated by HijackThis, OTL, MBAM, ASviewer (Autostart Viewer), Spybot S&D, Ad-aware, plus all the Anti-Rootkit detection logs (gmer, rkunhooker, etc.) and other similar product logs.
