also you are right i have noticed most av's now use only two processes except f-secure 2006 18 f-secure 1007 beta 10. bitdefender 10 i think about 8 or 9 correct me if wrong. tread micro i think has quite a few.

can someone confirm how many processes bitdefender and tread micro use?

Well this wasn't a topic about how good Trend is or isn't with hwat deal.
I'm justb curious about you favourite security setup.
