Spybot vs. Symantec legal fight

    i use norton dont notice any incompatibilitys. i hope. but yeah, norton are babys for not listen makes them sounds like patatoe chips now.

    Typical big company heavy-handed tactics. I haven't recommended Symantec products for ages now and this makes me glad I didn't. This story, coupled with the fact that McAfee repeatedly detected and deleted HijackThis as a security threat makes me even less happpy about both of these companies' products.

    Many anti-spyware apps get "rogue" status in Eric Howes' list by virtue of inaccurate detections, including false positives, so what makes Symantec any different when they falsely cite incompatibility with another known good application?
