No I was joking about hitman being a resident.Hitman is good but with MBAM and SAS you should not need it anyways. The two have amazing detection and cleaning abilitys.:thumb:

Figured I'd re-add Webroot SecureAnywhere while the private beta is still in effect. Plus, it's a bloody great program.

    Okay new setup :D

After 1.5 year of Safe-Admin setup, security gets bored, so this is what I will run on a relatives desktop

    Windows 7 Home x64

UAC set to max through contrtol panel UAC settings and manually set UAC in the registry:
    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
"ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin" set to 0 (quietly elevate)
"ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin" set to 1 (only allowing signed executables to elevate)
"FilterAdministratorToken" set to 1 (approval mode for internal admin)

Microsoft MSE, set to "monitor output only"

    Using IE9 as browser

So only thing I have taken care off is setting UAC to only allow signed executables (default deny) and surpress UAC prompts.

The guy dows not install a lot, just ordinary stuff (like syncback for data backup and cccleaner, and open office). I also installed Keriver -1 - click to restore and made a image backup after everything was installed.

I created a scheduled task which runsHitmanPro before the data backup (of syncback). See how he fares with basically MSE + install option for signed programs only.

j, do you optimize your PC with Kingsoft? Do you agree with all the messages displayed inside (diagnosis) and outside (notifications) of the program?

    Edit: uninstalled KPCD :p
