Seconfig XP has more options than WWDC and it doesnt give errors for missing services.

as for Vista, i couldnt keep myself from breaking it (via tweaking). i finally got fed up and decided to try a different OS (but still windows).

    On Windows XP:

    Prevx1
    Drweb antivirus
    FDISR (Leapfrog beta)
    Comodo firewall

    On Vista:
    UAC turned off
Avast antivirus free (a nice surprise, never tried it before)
    Prevx1 (vista beta)
    Look´n´stop 2.06 firewall (beta)
    FDISR (Leapfrog beta)
    All working well together.

*edit* forgot the beta on LnS.

Thanks for the info. I've had the same errors with WWDC. Haven't touched Vista since the last beta. HAd very poor framerates on too many games. I've read that Vista's gaming performance is still not equal to XP.

One change on mine. Uninstalled ProcessGuard and testing Spyware Terminator. Everything else remains pretty solid.
