I use free AVG, free zone alarm,spyware blaster,spybot s&d,
free Avg antispyware,and iespyad block list and MVP hosts files.
do i need to add anything else?

btw i wanted to use peerguardian but don't know how to add
bluetack's ip blocking.

Look N Stop isn't easy to use with a Router. Couldn't be bothered with all the hassle to set it up correctly. With Prevx Monitoring outbound I decided that a firewall with outbound was not neccessary.

I was expecting probs when I hooked my laptop onto the ADSL connection of my work machine which sits behind a Netgear router but zilch - nothing happened. LnS just kept on working merrily away. No rules, nothing.

 

i believe peerguardian currently uses bluetack's lists (PG p2p list = Bluetack level1 list or something like that), but u can add individual bluetack lists as well.

go to the list windows and add a list, for the url just select (or insert) one of the bluetack lists.

This is an old thread and I'm aware that some LnS users have had router troubles.


All I know is that I can connect to the internet at 2meg, get e-mail, no complaints from LnS.

I'm stealthed at GRC (no doubt the router).

Don't know what else to say. Everythings ' just working '.

Yeah i did the same. Installed lns on my laptop behind a router and everything has been running fine, no problems at all.

When I added Snoopfree my system crashed (I think it was in conflict with PrivacyKeyboard).
