So Panda Cloud users can't install Chrome? Did you post on their forum? Still I'm sure that there have to be Panda Cloud users here that have Chrome installed, perhaps they could help.

I believe overwhelming majority of users of Panda Cloud Pro can install Chrome without any problems, otherwise it would be strange for a paidee. Definitely I could resolve the issue by some tweaks. I just more accustomed to resolve CIS bugs, that's why I returned to it.

Maybe they mean the "Website Blocking" feature? I find it too aggressive - it sometimes blocks absolutely innocent sites.

I just bought a lifetime license of Outpost Security Suite Pro and I am running it alongside AppGuard 4.

Do any of you see an advantage in running AppGuard alongside Outpost Security Suite, other than having AppGuards lockdown feature?

Any thoughts on this, will be really appreciated.

    Thanks

Here is my very simple, but (in my opinion) effective setup. It's so lightweight!

    - Windows 7 x64 Pro
    - EMET 4 (Highest settings)
    - TinyWall
    - AppGuard
    - Firefox with No-Script
    - Sandboxie

I think it covers all the important bases while still being extremely fast.

Keter, we have a very similar setup.

    • Windows 8.1 Pro x64
    • EMET 4.1
      max settings
    • AppGuard
      locked down
    • Sandboxie 4.07.05
start/run and internet access restrictions, leader programs and auto-delete
    • Mozilla Firefox
NoScript, Adblock Plus, Cookie Monster, LastPass, DownThemAll, Better Privacy
    • Shadow Defender
on demand, to test-drive programs which require to load drivers, start services and to test system changes, which do not require a reboot

Flesch - Nice setup. I think it's really the best protection you can get, while keeping system resources down. You may want to consider TinyWall. It's a very light interface for configuring your Windows firewall.

Bo - I agree. Unless someone is running strange binaries on their computer, the weak point is always going to be the browser. A well-secured browser translates into a well-secured computer, unless you are opening CryptoLocker attachments or downloading pirated software.

Good Afternoon! Keter I used Outpost in the past...the Firewall with Hips is superb...the Anti-Virus component...so...so! It's a Great Deal...either way! Now I also have AppGuard...and in my setup the Outpost Firewall during it's learning phase takes a bit of patience...but as I recollect it was perfectly fine in tandem with AppGuard. Sincerely...Securon
