Is it possible to start a thread so we can keep track of these kind of applications that are kind of off track and also keep track of the recommended ones. Maybe even give reasons for their positives and negatives?

I would love to see something like this as it would help me hunt down new and improved stuff for my PC to replace some other stuff when its kinda useless.

Comodo Internet Security is back on my laptop due to a periodic lose of connectivity when using Online Armor. When I download a large file (500 MB at least) or watch a long video, my connection starts to wane. Emsisoft Anti-Malware is a great AV but I like to have the same brand on my PC if feasible. Also Comodo's AV is now superb compare to other top AV's on the market. I've always revert back to this suite when stability is a main priority. Is anyone using their DNS? In some instances, their queries seems on par with Norton DNS but I don't know.

It's not updated, but it works just great for me... That's great about HIPSs and Sandboxes - they don't have to be constantly updated. I just hope some OS update won't break the program.

Yup......tried Zemana in the past, was really good, but the yearly subscription knocked me off, even with all the giveaways and discounts around.
    Besides offering a lifetime license,SpyShelter is a fine hips....:thumb:

    About ERP and AppGuard:
ERP monitors my system space on C:\,as per recommendation from pegr and checks the Steam,Uplay and Origin folders on my D:\ partition, all these folders are excluded from AppGuard.
AppGuard is running on "medium" settings ,with SandBoxie's C:\documents and settings\<username>\sandbox\ C:\ directory excluded from monitoring.....:)

While everyone seems to have a good experience with CIS/CFW, I have the exact opposite. I tried the latest version of CFW (6.3 I believe) and put it in training mode. When my whitelist is done I realized that I made a mistake and redo it all over again with the proper configuration I've been using in the previous versions in the 6.x family. As usual, the first re-boot was for Windows itself and the second one was for my daily programs. Guess what? Some of the programs didn't appear in the list. Re-booting and system shutdown didn't help. What's up with that? o_O

I had to abandon Panda Cloud. Its user's data protection feature didn't allow to install Chrome and Talking Clock gadget didn't work. Even when I disabled this feature.

    ESET Nod32 and AppGuard.

Did Norton change their DNS addresses? This is what's at their site now:
Norton ConnectSafe IP addresses: 199.85.126.10 and 199.85.127.10
