    How does it work with Firefox if it is under the supervision of Sandboxie? Are all features active?

    I didn't see any comments here on the efficacy of that tandem.

    for offline systems I would use a Anti exe like Appguard or EXE Radar pro. both work great.

    Panda just needs to remove the URL filtering all together or implement a better way for URL filtering to properly work (without troubleshooting). URL filtering has been broken since the later 1x versions.

    Every time I have the URL filter installed and I click the test link (http://www.cloudantivirus.com/testurlfilter/) to see how it works, I always get this....

    As you can see above, I have the URL filter installed, but yet the test link indicates that nothing is working.

    It just doesn't work.

    My questions:

    1. What I want to know is, what extra protection am I missing, if I exclude the URL filter all together?

    2. Is this a problem on certain operating systems, because I notice that the URL filtering works just fine on XP machines.

    3. Not trying to be rude, but is Panda listening? I've/many have been reporting this same exact issue since later versions of version 1x.



    I love Panda Cloud, I think it's amazing at what it does, but the URL filter is what always makes me not want to use it anymore.

    Not sure why it's not working for you.

    Edit: Win 7 tested both IE & FF, page did not load in neither. On XP page didn't load in IE but it did with FF.

    I seem to remember there were a lot of problems getting it work with Sandboxie. Not sure if your running Sandboxie, but you those having trouble should test the site without the sandbox. I'm not particularly interested in this feature, as Malwarebyte does a decent job screen URLs.

    It has been compatible for a long time. It is not a native 64 bit application though, if that is what you are wondering.

    1. You will lack the blocking of dangerous/malicious sites. (you can access them and the antivirus will scan files related to the site)

    2. I've tested this tool on XP, Win 7 Home Pro and Ultimate versions (64bit), Windows 8 Pro (64bit) and Win 8.1 Pro (64bit). OS should not make a difference as far as I can tell. Your browser version can however.
    I'm running Firefox (32bit - Nightly build) on Windows 8.1 Pro (64bit). Works in that browser. However IE 11 (32-bit I assume in desktop mode) does not work for me.
    I've previously tried the url filter on some browsers, 32 bit and 64-bit of the same versions. I do not know if it is the same nowadays, but at that given time 64bit browsers did not work. I only use 32bit Firefox since a long time now.
    Some report issues with Chrome (or one of it's closely related versions). They are all 32bit (unless I'm misinformed).
    I do not know if all users reporting issues have something in common besides having the issue.

    Lets make a detailed list here and compare :) Maybe we find something out.

    3. Personally I have not seen what everybody with Url filter issues have in common. If there really is something in common at all. If all that Panda knows is that some have issues and some don't... That would make it complicated to fix. I really don't know what they know about this issue at this current moment.

    Thats strange because the last time (a year ago) I tried it it did not ran on my 64bit windows. So thats why I asked.

    The laptop that I'm using to post this is running Windows 7 Home Premium and it's 64-bit. Working fine for me.

    I greatly appreciate you taking the time to reply to my questions.

    But, unfortunately, I have stopped using Panda altogether, due to the problems I've been having with the URL Filter.

    I don't know what it is, but it never works for me.
