happens all the time. You would be surprised where some of these fine gents have worked previously. But I will never tell. One of my good friends is Inspector C, most don't have a clue where he is now, but I do.:)

The bottom line is, all these products get better by hiring the cream of the crop. And most that you see here are exactly that.

Sometimes, we take it for granted, the expertise of support we get from the folks that come here. I have never taken it for granted and my hats off to all of them.:thumb:

Good Evening! Just purchased a license for Panda Pro/AV...re:Special Pricing at the Panda Store. Downloaded the file and clicked save file...nothing it would not appear...I could see it trying to initiate but Nada! Very odd...prior to downloading I uninstalled all existing apps to provide a clean install. It shows on my download apps file on Windows...but that's it! Anybody know why it won't install? Sincerely Perplexed...Securon

Didn't have any stability issue(s) with 2.2.1 during the couple weeks I used it, and after 11 hrs with 2.3 it's doing just fine. As to whether it is lighter, it feels about the same to me.

So do you get it saved to your computer and the installer just won't run? Or do you mean the installer file will not download to the PC at all? I wasn't very clear on that.

Good Evening, Securon. Let me ask you this. Do you have CryptoPrevent on the PC? The reason why I ask is because I installed it on Friday on my system, and last nite when I was trying to install some programs CryptoPrevent had over-ridden my admin rights and instituted its own security restriction policy. The installers wouldn't run until I traced the problem to CryptoPrevent and unblocked it.

Good Evening! aztony! No I don't have Crypto Prevent installed. I tried downloading from Google the file states open...but as mentioned it won't open. Very strange...I might have to contact Panda support tomorrow. I was also thinking that since it's a Cloud based app...just maybe it might have something to do with Panda's Servers...making a disconnect. At this point that's just a wild guess from my point of view. Many Thanks for your input! Sincerely...Securon

That is strange. I don't think that the installer opening and running should have anything to do with Panda's servers at that stage. It is only after the installation is complete that Panda will attempt to communicate with the server.

Good Morning! Contacted Panda U.S.A. and contacted Support explained what didn't happen with the download...I was put on hold...and the trouble shooting was unsuccessful...my next step was e-mailing support in Spain...and they would respond within 24 to 48hrs. This too me is a complete waste of time. It seems they don't have tech's at the U.S.A. Office that are trained in dealing with escalations. And their voice mail system does not provide a Customer Focused Experience. I had to go directly through sales who transferred me to Customer Service...who in turn contacts Panda's Accounting Deptmt in Spain...who are responsible in initiating a refund. To the uninitiated who must leave Order number...e-mail address...and custmr number...just so Panda can call back...is to me a waste of time. Why can't they issue refunds from North America? and why can't you speak with a Live Customer Service Rep within a couple of minutes of contact? It's not just Panda...but I've recently run into a similar situation with another Software provider...who refuse to talk to their customer...all communication is done through e-mail...when you contact their Phone Number...no live presence...just leave an e-mail...and we'll get back to you!...very frustrating...and certainly not Customer Focused! Apologies for my rant...but I think I've brought forward some justified concerns...that will be of use...in assisting others! As a footnote...I was told by Panda...I could talk to Tier 2 Tech Support...I asked the Support Rep...if their was a cost in doing so...and they couldn't provide me with details. Again not a Customer Focused Communication. Sincerely...Securon

You're right, that was a rather convoluted customer support experience. You might've been better off just going to the forum for free users. Responses there aren't immediate, but reasonable in my experience.

Good Afternoon! Unfortunately...due to perception...meaning a Smaller business...with an attractive website...and bargain basement pricing...but with a poor Customer Relationship...aspect...can and does lure the unwary consumer some of the time. My advice would be check out the firm's pricing and return policies...and do they have knowledgeable customer tech support and administrative support...and how long have they been established as a business. Now some companies claim to have representation with Consumer Protection Agencies...such as the B.B.B...but in reality this is merely a ploy to introduce a sense of false security to the perspective consumer. Always take advantage of 30 day trials...and when purchasing most reputable firms offer either a 30 day money back offer...or exchange policy.Caveat Emptor...Consumer Beware! Sincerely...Securon

Installed 2.3 but windows keeps telling me Panda has stopped: it hasn't. Have tried re-install a few times but keep getting the warning.

    Anyway to stop this?
