Trying Bitdefender's TrafficLight again. AppGuard 4.0 Beta and the new version of WebrootSA are running smoothly so far.

    Switched upba little bit

    Using:

    Avast! 2014 RC2
    Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit
    K9 Web Protection
Google Chrome (Avast! Online security, ABP)

    On Demand:
    MBAM free
    HMP

  12. Yes that is the idea of Safe_admin with policy containment to mimic basic user deny execute and deny elevation of unsigned. VLC and Chromium (and eVince) are both unsigned, only left with Outlook to contain (and flashplayer) in basic user environment. Safe_Admin is a lot like Appguard using only windows Pro features, only memory protection is weaker as with AppGuard.

:D Yes some https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=2281202&postcount=56 MBAE gives me the extra safety net would I like to have around flashplayer. I tested it against a flash based malware, it intercepted as advertised.

    Haha. This is good!

And using whatever Windows Security is using plus some Comodo juju. Huge fan of Hitman Pro, MB, SBie and VT. Chrome fan. I do all private/banking/etc on discrete boxes. Usually Linux or hyper obscure. In and out. Kinky, eh.

    That's why you use EMET+MBAE.

Glad to know that MBAE is cool as it is advertised. My observation about MBAE is that on my PC it's lite and consumes RAM ways less then EMET.

    Thanks for sharing the info.
