This version has a problem. The progress counter is erratic, because it starts
    running in reverse.

    ScreenShot_CrystalHomeSecurity_v2.4.0.23beta_02.jpg

However, I noticed that under Settings > System Checkup, of the three options, nothing was selected. Perhaps, this had something to do with erratic counter performance.

  2. I uploaded your program for Ikarus, Kaspersky, Emsisoft, BitDefender, Fortinet, Avast and Dr.Web :)

    Hello,

First result showed 3 vendors, it is normal that it will increase by time because other vendors get
detected information too and if they don´t check my program manually then they just add it to their database.

    Regards.

    Hello,

Actually progress counter thing should be correct, it will show how many areas left to check. Program is checking every corner of your computer and it will pick up all suspicious items.

If Areas to Check counter is 0 then it will start 2nd step of classification.

But indeed, there is problem in System Checkup settings. Will be fixed!

    Thanks. :thumb:

    Hello,

    Thank you very much! :thumb:

I hope that it will help to solve false positive problem completely.

Please tell me results from vendors. Avira and Malwarebytes already noted that my program is clean :)

    Regards,
    Kardo

    Hello,

    Thank you for your information!

I will contact with these vendors (Avast, Vipre and TrendMicro).

This is like delay, these vendors recently discovered my program i think and found that some vendors detect it as malicious. Hoipe that they will remove false alarm.

    Regards,
    Kardo

    Hello,

Welcome and Thank you for your feedback!

Please note that detection may increase via VirusTotal thanks to BitDefender detection. I will contact with BitDefender about false positive.

Is Crystal Security an AV or a HIPS? Does it detect changes and sends suspicious files from behavior analysis to the cloud for detecting malware? What AV engines does it use?

It says in the website that Crystal Security stop malware and from screenshots it seems 'Crystal Security is protecting your computer' is on the interface of the app. And yet it says 'No installations, just download and use'. Does they not seem kind of oxymoron? How can I use it in realtime without installing? I mean it will be there and I have to click on the .exe file to run it, right? So how come realtime?

    Best Wishes,
    Amit

    Hello,

Crystal Security is cloud based anti-malware program, it will notify if created or changed file detected and analyze file to see if it is clean or malicious.
Program is also using file aged based heuristic to detect zero-day malware.

If you like to use it as real-time protection then enable under settings Start with Windows. If enabled, then program add executable automatically to startup folder and every time you start your computer, Crystal Security start too with protection enabled.

Crystal Security gather information about file from several cloud database sources. One database is from NictaTech.

After first launch program will create Crystal Security folder under AppData folder with settings files and copies .exe file to Startup folder automatically.

If you need more information please just let me know via reply or PM.

    Regards,
    Kardo

So I scan with Crystal Security and it will detect any change or file creation and analyze if it is malware or not with the help of cloud. I think it's like HMP. On-demand anti-malware scanner. But what happens when realtime is enabled? I mean if enabled, then program add executable automatically to startup folder and every time you start your computer, Crystal Security start too with protection enabled. But how will it protect my pc in realtime? Will it scan on-access? Or just remains in the startup menu and taskbar, waiting to be opened and scanned on-demand with?

    Hello,

In real-time (on-access) Crystal Security classify all changed/created executable files and will let you know about analyze result via notification.

'Checkup' feature is working on demand and this kind of classification will check every corner on your computer and pick up suspicious/malicious files.

    Regards,
    Kardo

That's great. Thx for the link. :thumb: It's free right? How do you earn money from it? I mean even Avast! earns money from business licenses and Home AIS, Pro licenses.

I thought you were already in partnership with a Russian company. I do not remember the name but you mentioned it in this thread somewhere.
