Here are my settings, is this default (I changed the settings in the previous version, so it seems to me that it remains in this)?



Are there a button to revert settings to default?
Still the same problem with log off and restart.
Maybe it's only me?

Good suggestion about revert settings to default. This feature will be available in next version.

Your settings should stay as you configured between versions.

About log off and restart problem:

I made some research and found how to fix it. I will make some tests
to be sure that your problem will be fixed with coming version.

How about System Checkup now? Less false positive (suspicious) detections now?

P.S: Protection Level: Low check only Program Files folder.

Is there a procedure on how to completely remove this program or just to wipe his folder?
Maybe some uninstall tool?

Why can not I edit the settings in the Custom Protection Level?
System Checkup is OK when unchek "Suspicous Objects" but when its check then its the same as before.

Just delete Crystal Security.exe and navigate to AppData folder, from there delete folder called Crystal Security. You may also check Startup folder to see if there exist exe file.

Click on "Edit" if you want to configure Custom Protection.

'Suspicious Objects' checkbox should work for on-access scan only (real time) notifications, it does not affect 'System Checkup' results.

I had to delete a folder in the AppData folder and now it works OK.



Can you put all the stuff from Crystal Security in one folder, not in several places?

Although I put the program to start when Windows starts, he does not run?

Good to hear that Custom Protection settings working now!

It is better to hold Crystal Security settings in AppData folder - that´s why some files need to be in other locations. Hope you understand.

Great that false positives (suspicious) detection fixed in System Checkup.

Sorry about missed that one.

No, there is no need to add program under Startup folder manually.
If you like to start program automatically on Windows startup then enable Start with Windows checkbox and click 'Apply'. Program don´t create any registry key, that´s why you can´t find program entry from System Configuration.

To be sure that program is added to Startup folder - just locate Windows Startup directory and try to find Crystal Security.exe.

About custom extensions: your mentioned extensions will be added into newer version.

P.S: You can also add manually other extensions to monitor

Due to website DNS problems yesterday, i made some following changes:

Website address is now: www.crystalsecurity.us.to (also accessible: crystalsecurity.us.to).

Updated contact information you can find from Support page.

Website is running on new servers and should be faster now.

Thanks to new servers i can start to work out Community-based separated cloud-database for Crystal Security program.

Hello,

Just made test on virtual machine and found that Online Armor really detect Crystal Security program as screen logger...

Every time i tried to open program from Tray menu (to open GUI), Online Armor showed alarm with text screen logger.
When program just stayed in tray (icon without opened GUI) then no alarm about program.

This is false positive by Online Armor in that case.

Also i figured out that Memory release module is not affecting this alarm. Online Armor showed alarm for previous versions too, not just for latest version.
