What is your security setup these days?

The only drawback i see of snapshots is that i can't defrag or it will get too big, unless i erase the base snapshot and re create another

Loved Comodo Time Machine BUT it screwed my MBR TWICE in 2 different ocassions = 100% success rate screwing Windows in my experience

BTW, i'm loving Malware Defender, so customizable, just learning to use it a lot better than before

Thinking of removing Prevx SafeOnline (Facebook version) from my setup. Firefox seems to lag a bit with it installed. Problem is gonna be finding something to replace it with.

Also thinking about replacing Comodo Firewall (free) with Online Armor Firewall (free). Not sure if its worth it?

Surfing "greased lightning" with SRWare Iron Browser protected from those nasty "info stealers" with SafeOnline (Prevx). Adblocking is done by the superb Privoxy and webbugs crunched with the Ghostery extension.

Lastly, am prepared with the Thunderbird Email Client, Enigmail extension and GPG4Win for the day "securing email" is finally deemed "important enough" by the masses!

 

I personally would replace Prevx SO with SpyShelter (which is also free). It won't slow your browser like Prevx (the same happened to me).
I would stay with OA, and replace Comodo Firewall with a good free AV like Avira or Avast. OA Free is a strong firewall, so as long as you don't go to the dark side of the web, you should be ok....

 

Added DynDNS to my home router configuration with the auto update also programmed into my router.

I have DynDNS to filter out sites with gambling, phishing, malware, viruses, fraudulent activity and sites infected with the conficker worm.
