    Yes, it's back to original

Don't understand what do you mean by a uncustomized sandbox.

I just right click with Ctrl button down Ungoogled Chromium browser and launch Run sandboxed

As for FF it cannot start my DDG homepage but I can see the yellow border and the Dark Reader extension works fine

A box with the default settings ---> a box without having changed something in its standard settings.

Oh, Ungoogled Chromium by Eloston is your browser.
I'd have to install Ungoogled Chromium by Eloston to test duckduckgo.com
duckduckgo.com loads crisply for me from Edge, Chrome, Firefox
    v0.5.4d
    Edit: is < https://ungoogled-software.github.io/ungoogled-chromium-binaries/releases/windows/64bit/87.0.4280.67-1 > your browser.

IDK if 0.5.4d is ready for prime time.
    Hmm, I'll try 0.5.4c
    Edit:
duckduckgo.com loads crisply for me from Firefox, Edge, Chrome + 0.5.4c Default box
duckduckgo.com loads crisply for me from Ungoogled + 0.5.4c Default box
    Edit2:
duckduckgo.com loads crisply for me from Firefox, Edge, Chrome + 0.5.4d Default box
duckduckgo.com loads crisply for me from Ungoogled + 0.5.4d Default box

Ok, deleted SB Plus v0.5.4c and re-install c build again

In FF it works ok except it cannot open DDG homepage.

Dark Reader takes a while to load. Opening sites have no problesm

Tested with d build now and also same issues as c build. Both FF and Ungoogled Chromium cannot open DDG homepage. My DDG homepage link is very clean as below

    httpx://duckduckgo.com/

nothing behind because I use strip URL parameters to strip irrelevant parameters. I wonder if that affects the opening of DDG homepage?

OK, in FF after changing homepage without sandboxed it loads correctly

    upload_2021-1-13_13-29-3.png

With sandboxed it still shows my homepage as FF

    upload_2021-1-13_13-29-42.png

How to solve the issue? Do I need to reboot if change something outside sandbox?

I don't think its caused by issues as described in your link

After changing my homepage FF displays it correctly when I did not sandbox it.

But when I ran FF sandboxed it happens.

So the issue is likely caused by SB Plus instead because if FF did not save the change then without running SB Plus it would show up

There's nothing being changed on my laptop except the homepage in my FF browser

@DavidXanatos When installing the latest v0.5.4d-Plus test-version, installation will initially proceed well. Yet, when finished there is no Sandman.exe tray-icon started. Ok, I thought, we had that before. So I triggered a re-boot after which Sandman used to be started in systray. But this time - no success, no sandman. When starting the browser it came up sandboxed, but with the old SbieCtrl opening in systray upon browser-start.

Cause: I checked with Sysinternals autoruns64 if Sandman was still started with -autorun parameter. And the answer was:
    "SandboxiePlus_AutoRun File not found: {app}\SandMan.exe"

Since the SandMan.exe file does exist in the Sb-Plus-installation-dir, my best guess is that a new issue with the path has again managed to creep into the installer-routine.

What is "{app}\" meant to be? An environment-variable? Somehow SandMan.exe seems not to be found when it should be autostarted in the HKCU\.....\CurrentVersion\Run-key.

Here is what I noticed: If I have already opened a sandboxed Firefox and additionally open the Edge Chromium in the same sandbox, the messages SBIE2101 are triggered again.

    "SBIE2101 ConnectPort (C0000022) access=001F0000 initialized=1"

If Edge Chromium is opened alone in the sandbox, the messages do not appear.

PLEASE, can anyone that can tell me what this error means and what I can do to try to sort it out? I don't have the knowledge to do more than I have tried already which includes a new install and re-creating my sandboxes/ini from scratch.

Thank you for adding the ability to overwrite existing files.
I have a minor issue - when performing a file recovery to an existing file the sandman icon vanishes from the system tray and the yellow border also goes from sandboxed applications. This also happens when closing the file recovery options box (where you have the option to recover to a different location).
Reloading Sandboxie-Plus from the Start menu brings back the yellow border and the sandman icon.
