okay i just got word there will be a way to customize the installer using certain flags for those that dont like the one click solution. this is 100% confirmed and will be in beta for testing very soon before it gets released to everyone else.
Strange why some people didn't get it yet although for me the moment I install it and check the About section it says 14.0.7.306. Using Avira AV Pro not Free though.
Full installer with the latest update: Free AV: http://personal.avira-update.com/package/wks_avira13/win32/en/pecl/avira_free_antivirus_en.exe AV Pro: http://premium.avira-update.com/package/wks_avira13/win32/en/pepr/avira_antivirus_suite_en.exe IS: http://premium.avira-update.com/pac...2/en/iss/avira_internet_security_suite_en.exe
Are you sure? Because the size of Avira Pro now is 153 MB which is 10 MB less than the previous download I had, where'd you find these links bro?

Hi guys... anyone knows which file in avira causing avira cloud install to pop up? It's kind of annoying to pop up randomly to make us install it.
fs2com, do you mean the cloud upload dialog by chance? The Avira cloud option can be selected on installation or later in the configuration center, but there are no popups.
I have just re-downloaded the latest Avira Free, thinking I must have an older version with nag screens and so on. I de-selected Avira cloud, and immediately post-install I have an "Avira Update" popup like before, prompting to install Avira Cloud despite having disabled it on the original install. I suspect this will happen immediately following and restart and periodically, in addition to the regular "notification" popups encouraging Avira cloud, antivirus pro or Android antivirus. If there is no way to disable these I will have to seek an alternative, it's so annoying!
Look at his situation I think he may face as the OE Launcher proplem nor the APC Dialogs APC is no way to disable and you cannot de-select or choose to not install in custom installation mode after update 6
Yes... the one with big button with text accept&install... yes already selected out when installation.. the nagging after installation which kind of put me off Exactly like what I experienced it... not that I don't want it... one time when the first time Avira put it in the free version, I do install it.. What have I got? a system tray icon which is not helping at all when you're not sign in I guess... Can't access configuration, etc... So after figuring out the culprit is Avira Cloud, I uninstall it, and the system tray is behave like I want it. Back in the days when there's so much advertisement on avira, I used to block "avnotify" using firewall... and the annoying stuff is gone... After some times, Avira is really nice to tune down those nagging advertisement... so for a couple of month I think I don't block it anymore every time I install it... but this one is different kind I guess... So looks like I have to move on to try panda after all and ditch avira So if one buys a license they won't nagging you to sign with the cloud option? I don't think so... license will get you more protection than the standard free one
hopefully avira takes note of this. i can say i personally know of dozens of people who are switching to something else because of this new setup and the launcher. people do not like it at all.
