PDF/Exploit.Gen trojan

Me and a bunch of other people just started getting this yesterday, anyone know the story with it ?

If you're not visiting that site, you're infected with something that's making you visit it. I suggest you do a full scan with MalwareBytes.

 

yes, I was surfing I don't remember where or what but that came out of nowhere, gonna try malwarebytes now.Virus and malware experts said this and next year is gonna be bad for malware attacks, says pcworld.

 

malwarebytes found nothing and the rest of my system was clean, so ran hijackthis and it found this:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = file://C:\WINDOWS\system32\sb.htm

so i deleted it.not sure if this is it though.

 

You could always try SuperAntiSpyware also.
