At the moment I'm thinking Symantec Antivirus for Mac but I also read some good things about McAfee Antivirus 8.6 for Mac. :doubt:

So why do I want an antivirus on my Mac? It's not that I feel particularly threatened on my Mac by viruses or threats; it's more about making sure that stuff I bring from work or other places (that my have PC viruses) are cleaned so I can 'break the chain' as such.

Why there is no Comdo AV for Mac? It must be a good advertisement for them.

The best AV for the Mac is Intego's Virus Barrier X5!

Wich includes some very nice Heuretics engine!

It's not cheap though, but you get what you pay for!

Mcafee what iv'e heard is nothing more than a resource hog unfortunately!-(
And so is Symantec's Mac edition.

So i also suggest that you go for iAntivirus from PCtools,
or Virus Barrier X5 form Intego, specialists on the Mac.

:thumb: Thanks. Although this one only detects Mac threats, I was hoping for something 'recommended' that does both. ;)
