After not finding a solution to this problem described here

    So, I uninstalled HMPA...

However, a month has gone by, and I just got back to HMPA in one of my snapshots...

Screenshot shows that with the install of Build 155RC, I still got a 'referenced memory' during the install on XP. But, the install completed, and no further problem, even after a reboot.

I think you misunderstood, my whole point is that HMPA seems to interfere with apps that are not even protected. On my system it doesn't play well with Sandboxie, that's the deal breaker. I guess these things can happen with advanced anti-exploit tools who integrate quite deeply in the system.

How does one buy a license for HMPA? When I click on the "Buy now" button and then on "Purchase Product Key," I get taken to a webpage that offers HMP as well as bundles with Bitdefender or Emsisoft, but nothing that I can see for HMPA.

A license works for both HMP and HMPA

The two products use the same license.

    Erikloman,

Is it the latest beta version of HMP Alert ?
Is it free with all features or a limited version ?

    Hi Ashanta,

No, HitmanPro.Alert 3 Build 120 is not the latest beta version,
nor is build 143 that you get through the download link in the text that you quoted.
The latest build is HitmanPro.Alert 3 Build 155 Release Candidate.

And no, not all HitmanPro.Alert features are free.
Here you can find a specification of which HitmanPro.Alert features are free and which are paid features.
And here is a motivation by Mark Loman.

They need a 'family pack' for this product...

Many of us have 5, 6, even 10 machines (counting desktops and laptops), and really need something like a multi-device to make it something we'd purchase.

There is the 3 PC licence, which is half the price per PC.
I don't know if you can get a discount if you want it for 6 or 10 machines. You could ask.

For those that are over 60 years old, and will be retired soon, there should be a lifetime licence.
As soon as retired, I will not have enough money, to buy a licence every year, or so.
I certainly will not use software as a service, cause I can't afford it.

If everything will be a yearly payed service, I will convert to Linux, that's for sure.

I'm not quite retired, but I have been wishing for the same thing (lifetime licensing for HMP/HMPA). For me it has not so much to do with affordability as with having something hanging over my head. I hate subscriptions. I can't really explain it. I would prefer one large payment and be done with it.

Make certain it is allowed to connect in your firewall.

I have no popup from firewall (PF7.0)
Do I need HMPro previously installed to run the scan with HMPro.Alert ?

To rule out the firewall you could turn off PF7.0 then run a scan to see if you receive the same message.

Make certain both Hitman Pro Alert and Hitman Pro rules exist and are allowed. Please see attached.

Also, are you running any Software Restriction Policy (or other software, e.g., CryptoPrevent) that blocks executable files from running in the appdata folder?

Can you PM me with the details of the crashes? Just click on the item and copy paste the message in a PM. Thanks!

Sorry if it's answered already, but what exactly HMPA's MITM intrusion protection does?
As a reference (no intention to make it A vs B),Zemana AL does these:
From past comments, HMPA seems to block code injection, right? Is it the job for process protection? And Rasheed said it can detect malicious API hook after injection. But does HMPA can detect fake cert which now stole security show? Does it detect HTML injection too?

Also, HMPA's webcam protection works perfectly on my system, it's very great as others didn't work, but how about adding microphone protection too?

    Thanks in advance.
