Hy all, Yesterday I reinstalled my nod32 and it won't update. Error message: http://img129.imageshack.us/img129/3098/nod32ia8.th.jpg
Hello wolv, The answer to this question is in the Faq at the top of the forum. Update Error occurred while updating program modules (Cannot replace the current file. Check the system TEMP and TMP variables) Answer
Hi all, I have a 2.50.25 version. Everything was running well including automatic 'every hour' updates. Recently, when starting the computer, I receive a message that says I need to urgently run an update. However, when I do, I immediately get a message that an update is not necessary. Still, the 'last update' date does not change and shows as months back (as the day NOD32 was installed). I will appreciate help Thanks
Where did you find v 2.50 ?Quite old versions . If NOD32 warns you that urgent update is needed , this means your signatures are older than 30 days which means your trial must have expired. Can you provide more information such as the information from Control Center ->NOD32 System Tools -> Information (use Copy to Clipboard) ?
A friend installed it. I don't have a clue from where. I clicked the "copy to clipboard", then what to do?
Now reply to my post and use PASTE (right click with the mouse and you'll see it) to paste the info here so that we see what's going on

Do you see ? Can you count how many years these days are ? Your computer has illegal cracked version of NOD32 . Most likely ESET servers reject your cracked version from updating and don't allow it update/you are not protected , your signatures are obsolete , from 2005 . You need to uninstall that , including the so called Fix first. If it was your friend , not you , who installed it , and if you like NOD32 , you should buy it and uninstall that crack version (you can try NOD32 first with legal version from ESET's site) . Otherwise you won't be able to enjoy full protection or support
NYClive7, if you want more information how to buy NOD32 , how to uninstall the crack , etc , don't hesitate to post again
<This is connected to pirated software/cracks and Wilders security Forums don't allow posting such information . If Moderators find it appropriate , pls feel free to remove this post> The illegal versions for xxxxxxxxxx days are cracked with the so called "Fix" , something that damages NOD32 and "make it work for xxxxxxxxx years" . Obviously it is not working . Most likely you can find it (a way to uninstall it) in Start->Programs->ESET-> Uninstall Fix
Uninstall : 1. Go to Start->Programs->ESET-> Press Uninstall Fix 2. Goto Start->Programs->ESET->Uninstall Now reboot 3. After rebooting , manually delete the folder called "ESET" in C:\Program files 4. Depending where you are from , contact either ESET Sales Dept (mail to sales@eset.com or phone http://www.eset.com/company/contact.php ; or contact ESET distributor/reseller http://www.eset.com/partners/worldwide.php
found the 'install FIX' ... and to buy is in http://www.eset.com/download/registered_software.php I just can't find how much it cost...?
You mean uninstall Fix No , this is a link where you can download registered version , a version used with license when one have paid for NOD32 It depends on where you are/live . For USA you can find info here http://www.nod32usa.com/anti-virus-software-store/
Anything = you mean things with name ESET . Generally not , but in this case , I believe you should do it to ensure the "fix" will be removed fully
