Zone alarms doesn't allow me browse the web when secutiry is set at high.

occasionally i set zone alarm security zone to high, and sometimes i am able to connect to websites, but more frequently the connection is dropped when i try to go to sites, once i chnage back to normal, i can connect just fine, is zone alarm broken? because i cant surf without having settings on medium. is that even safe? i'd rather browse then not at all. it's been doing this more often.

windows xp, all browsers, ZA 6.1.737.000

 

gosh darnit i cant edit, i forgot to mention im using the free version and the deruptive setting is in the firewall section.

 

What Type of Net Conn. do You have?

 

Is this the Internet Zone or Trusted Zone setting?
Anything in you ZA logs to indicate what the problem may be?
Do you have your DNS servers in the Trusted Zone?
