zone alarm+spyware or outpost 3.0

    hi

    which of zone alarm 6.0+spyware and outpost 3.0 is the best in your opinion in terms of protetion and the load of system ?

    That question is likely to generate a lot of votes on both sides as there are many who like and use each. I actually own both. On my system, Outpost runs lighter. For some reason ZAP 6 eats 37mb of ram here. On the other hand, I tend to think that ZAP offers a little better protection. So each has it's pluses and minuses. And opinions abound. Best to try each and get your own impression..

    They both have their followers, both consume significant amount of RAM but in their defense, they offer huge amount of overall protection thereby negating the need of secondary apps.

    You should try the trials and see how they work for you. Try to do the same sort of things as the amount of traffic affects the memory usage. I have no idea how much a significant ;)
