zone alarm slow internet slowdown

    after installing z.a 6.1 pro my internet surfing is cut in half.its a solid firewall but the slow down is realy noticeable. is there a setting or settings that i can disable to speed up browsing.o_O

    What privacy/active content settings are you using?
    Does having your DNS servers in the Trusted Zone help?

    hi.CrazyM.both my privacy settings are medium,and the DNS servers in the Trusted Zone.make no diffrence...
