I have just tried the tooleaky tool, and my copy of zone alarm just failed.

The grc.com site says that zone alarm has never leaked and is one of the firewalls that is recommended. Is it my settings that are to blame or is ZA that sucks ass.

    Hi fotoos,

First: on purpose downloading and installing a possibly compromised executable is not recommended. In this case, you did choose to do so - regarding a fairly innocent test executable. Bottom line: you deliberately "compromised" your system. Be sure having all defenses up to avoid happening this - and keep away from suspect executables as far as possible. Scan at least every one with a good and updated AV and AT before executing.

Installing and executing an executable on purpose like this one hardly counts as "leaking" - just proves FWs and O/S's can be fooled.

What version from ZA are you running, btw?

    regards.
